Luiz “Banha” Cane waited only one day to know his opponent at UFC 128, after Karlos Vemola withdrew with an infection. According to sources close to the situation, Cane will fight TUF 8 veteran Eliot Marshall, who won three consecutive fights outside the octagon after losing to Vladimir Matyushenko. Before that loss, Eliot defeated Vinny Magalhães and Jason Brilz. In the other side will be Luiz Cane, who recently signed a new contract with the UFC, but needs a win to stay in the event after back to back losses to Rogério Nogueira and Cyrille Diabate.
