Anderson calls Chael Sonnen a gangster (3)

On a promotional video of UFC 117, Anderson Silva spoke back to Chael Sonnen’s statements, his next opponent for the middleweight belt. “Chael, as a fighter, is a good politician”, said the champion. “He thinks he knows something, but on the day of the fight, when we are all alone in there, he’ll have his chance. Once again, he’s saying crap”.

With a lot of critics to Anderson, the American claims that, in case he retired himself, no one would miss him. The hard words, for the Brazilian, are disrespectful to all fighters he has faces before. “What he’s saying is disrespecting me, he’s  disrespecting me and all opponents I’ve faced. Dan Henderson, in my opinion, is the best Wrestler that there is out there on MMA”.

Being compared by his opponent to Britney Spears, Anderson was humorous on his answer. “Or do you want to be a politician, or do you wanna be a fighter or you want to be a gangster. I chose, for myself, being a fighter. If I wasn’t a fighter, I’d be a cop, and on that case it’d be a serious problem, because you’re a gangster and I’m a cop. Well, I’m a fighter and you yet don’t know what you are, you’ll still choose what you’ll be”.

On August 7, the day when the Brazilian will put his UFC title on line once again, Chael Sonnen will have the challenge to do something no one has being able to do on UFC: to beat Anderson. But the middleweight champion guarantees that the outcome will be the same as in his previous fights. “I’ll keep doing my job the same way I’ve always done. I’ll do a good fight, as I always do, I’ll try to show my technical superiority”, concluded.
