The next challenger to Anderson Silva’s belt, Chael Sonnen cannot get enough of provoking. Not satisfied to poke just Silva, the statements of the American had a new target last week, the Nogueira brothers. “I don’t know what’s so relevant in being a black belt graduated by the Nogueira brothers… One is a punching bag and the other I just ignore”, said the windbag. In a chat with Minotouro, the Brazilian did not want to make it a polemic and went right to the point.

“It’s the way he found to bring Anderson to wherever he wants. He’s provoking Anderson to see if he bits the bait, lose his head and goes for the knockout. Anderson will kick his ass”. But if the intention is to criticize Anderson’s ground game and the quality of the Nogueira brothers on the soft art, Minotouro also made his own comments. “He doesn’t have a ground game… He was submitted by Jeremy Horn and by Paulão… He won (on a fight against Nate Marquardt) because the guy ran out of gas, otherwise he’d get that guillotine”, said Minotouro, settling the matter.
