With two wins in a roll at the UFC, Paulo Thiago entered the octagon of UFC 115 to beat Martin Kampmann and get one step closer to the top of the welterweight division, but the Danish did not give him any chances, dominated the fight and won on the unanimous decision.
“I didn’t fought well at all, man. I couldn’t do it, I froze… I went forward on the beginning of the fight, but then I got stuck there. I don’t know what happened, but I couldn’t play my game and he won”, regrets Thiago on a chat with TATAME, aware of his bad performance on this one unlike the previous fights. “I couldn’t make my game plan… Maybe I could have done better, but I didn’t. Now I have to study this fight, try to see my mistakes, improve my mental state and make it up with myself”. |
