For many years, Cristiano Marcello worked on the ground game of names like Wanderlei Silva and Maurísio “Shogun” at Chute Boxe team. With a new home, the CM System leader received a surprising visit this week. “I was at home with my wife when the phone rang and there was a guy wanting to talk with me. When I hang up, I recognized him,” tells the black belt, who found out that Wanderlei Silva was in his gym.

Coming to Brazil after a great victory at UFC 110, against Michael Bisping, “The Axe Murderer” visited the ex trainer in Curtiba. “I’m very proud of having Wanderlei visiting me… Before my daughter’s bith, one of the greatest emotions in my life was Wanderlei who gave me,” remembers Marcello, who gave the BJJ black belt to Silva. “I’m very happy he visited me, I don’t have words to describe it.
