Shine Fight’s matchmaker, Ron Foster spoke to TATAME.com about the upcoming event, rumored to take place in Miami on March, the cast of Brazilians with contract on the organization, the possibility of bringing the event to Brazil and more. Check below the exclusive interview.

How’s the expectation for the next event?

The expectation for Shine 3 is very high! We are growing very fast and are trying to put on the best fights that we possibly can. The next card will be stacked from top to bottom it will be amazing!

You hired a lot of Brazilians to the events. Why you decided to do that?

We signed a lot of the top unsigned Brazilians, but we are also working with fighters from China, Russia, Japan, UK and of course here in the U.S. We just want the best fighters that we can get from all over the world. Brazil has so many great fighters and ledges of the sport it is impossible to mention MMA and not think of Brazilian fighters.

Who are the Brazilians that signed with you to 2010?

Here are just a few that we have signed: Murilo Rua, Luciano Azevedo, Luis Azeredo, Junior Assuncao, Eduardo Pamplona, Luis Santos, Givanildo Santana, Alexandre Ferreira, Thiago Meller, Amilcar Alves and more.

You have some great talents with you, such as Alexandre Ferreira, Murilo Ninja and Hector Lombard. What are you waiting or their fights?

Ninja vs Niko Vitale is going to be one of the best fights of the new year I can't wait to see that! And bringing Cacareco back to the state to fight top level competition will show everyone that he is one of the top middle weights in the world, and Luciano Azerevedo is the only fighter to hold a victory over #1 ranked fighter Jose Aldo, I'm very excited about the amount of talent that Shine is bringing to the table fans who tune in will not be disappointed.

What’s the fight you’re looking forward to see most?

All of the fight will be so good its really hard to pick one fight! I can't wait for Shine 3!

What else are you planning for 2010?

Yes we do have a date and location which I will be release at the start of 2010, as far as the rest of the year we are planning to have 4-6 event.

How do you see the MMA growth around the world?

MMA is the fastest growing sport in the world. In my opinion it has began to even top boxing and that is why you are now seeing athletes from other sports trying there hand in MMA, In the next 5 to 10 years MMA will be just as main stream as boxing or basket ball and you will see more elite athletes coming to MMA, as a matter of fact Ricardo Mayorga former 3x boxing champion will make his MMA debut on SHINE 3. This will be a fight you don't want to miss!

Do you plan doing an event here in Brazil?

Of course coming to Brazil is a goal that we are working on as we speak. I have great friend from Brazil that have open there doors to us, guys like Alex Davis, Jorge Guimaraes and Eduardo Alonso have very helpful in working to get Shine to Brazil. I think before the end of 2010 we will have a show in Brazil.
