Junior dos Santos has an opponent to UFC 108. According to his boxing coach, Luis Dorea, the Brazilian heavyweight faces former Pride fighter Gilbert Yvel, who comes from an devastating knockout victory over Pedro Rizzo.

“’Cigano’ is a young guy, a great talent”, Dorea said, betting on his pupil. “We know Gilbert is a very strong guy, he like to fight standing, but ‘Cigano’ is better in striking now, we’re doing our job and I know we’re gonna get the victory”, finished the coach.
