Asian Super Cup with new date: Dec. 11 and 12
 

The Emirates Jiu-Jitsu Team would like to inform that we changed the date of the Asian Super Cup 2009, that will now be on December 11 and 12, due to the FIFA World Cup for Clubs final match in Abu Dhabi on December 19. The Asian Super Cup will have more than 200 athletes coming from all over the world. And more important, the event is also part of the UAE 38th Anniversary. After the Asian Super Cup, the Emirates Team will participate of the European Open Championship in Portugal, on January 28, 2010.

 

In 2 weeks we are going to witness one of the most traditional events of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in Asia, the Emirates Asian Super Cup 2009, on December 18 and 19. The event is under the patronage of HH Sheikh Zayed bin Mohamed bin Zayed al Nahyan, and the chairman of the competition is Lt. Gen. Mohamed Hilal al Kaabi, and organized by Carlos Santos.

 

The event is one more chance for international and Emirates jiu-jitsu team fighters to prepare themselves to the biggest Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu event ever, the World Professional Jiu-Jitsu Cup 2010, that is also organized by Carlos Santos and approved by FIJJA – Federation International Jiu-Jitsu Association.
