After the great knockout victory against Alex Stiebling in only 45 seconds, Murilo “Ninja” Rua was rumored to be back in Japan on Dream 12, scheduled to October 25. Talking with TATAME.com, Ninja revealed that he won’t fight on the event because of his brother’s title fight in he UFC, against Lyoto Machida, on October 24 (UFC 104). “I was going to fight, but I thought that better not to, because I’m helping my brother to his fight on UFC”, revealed the Brazilian.

Out of the event, Ninja expects one more fight in 2009. “I’m waiting for a next fight on Bitetti Combat, that I’ve heard that may happen in December in São Paulo, or even at Dream. I wanna do one more fight this year. I in talks with Strikeforce too, I’m negotiating, but there’s nothing right yet", explains the fighter, excited to his brother’s fight. “He’s well, focused, and he’ll go for the victory”.
