With five victories in a row, Lúcio Linhares is training hard for his debut in the UFC octagon, but Rousimar “Toquinho” Palhares will do his best to mess his compatriot’s party. On the break of the training at Brazilian Top Team, Palhares spoke with TATAME.com about the preparation for the fight.

“We’re training hard, keeping the training strong. We’re training to make the same strategy”, said the middleweight, who had his opponent changed last week. Ready to the UFC 107, the black belt is waiting for a ground fight, once his opponent got six out of the 13 victories by submission. “The fight might be more on the ground… And I hope to be like this, let’s see… We’ll keep working, making big fights and winning... That’s the expectation, always”, the Brazilian concluded.
