Gesias Cavalcante was the center of some controversy at the GP lightweight, at his fight against the Japanese Shinya Aoki. The athletes made two bouts: the first was declared No Contest and at the second the Brazilian was defeated, at judges decision. After that Aoki left the event with a fracture in the face and Gesias did not took his place, due an knee injury. In a conversation with TATAME.com, Gesias talked about the second fightagainst the Japanese, with a possible return fight against Aoki and his plans for the future. "It has many things that I could have done, but there come the “if”, "and “if" my mother was a cow, I could have been born calf" said the Brazilian.
