The bout between Gesias Cavalcanti, two times K-1 Hero’s champion, and the japonese Shinya Aoki, ex fighter from Pride, is been waited a lot from Japanese fans. The expectations are so high that the Japanese magazine Kakutougi Tsushin dedicate ten pages for this bout, six for Aoki and 4 for the Gesias. But according to TATAME magazine #142, Gesias has a surgery at left knee meniscus and unfortunately will not be ready to fight. “I made the surgery at December 5. Thanks to God that everything went right and I will be back on February”, said Gesias.
