After Zuluzinho in Russia and Vanessa Porto in the FFF (USA) in the second half of this year, the agency B-TOUGH has just confirmed the debut of Luis Artur Banha in UFC. The fighter will debut in 29th of December against the American James Irvin on UFC 79, same show where Wanderlei Silva will face Chuck Liddell. This will be Banha´s first fight, which has eight fights in Vale Tudo, with six victories by knockout, one submission and one No Contest, representing Gibi Thai Team, since Eduardo Pamplona and his Jiu-Jitsu professor, Casquinha, left Gracie Sao Paulo. James Irvin was recently defeated by Thiago Silva (Chute Boxe), in a fight where he had an injury on his knee and now will try his rehabilitation.
